As if “bring your dog to the ballpark day” weren’t strange enough; the Seattle Mariners will be hosting Yoga Day at SafeCo Field on Sunday, June 4th vs. the Tampa Bay Rays. This year’s event will mark the 2nd annual Yoga Day, presented by CHI Franciscan Health. Participants will receive a Seattle Mariners yoga mat and a yoga mat bag from CHI Franciscan Health.

The event gets even weirder; fans are required to bring their ticket to section 330 at the top of the fourth inning to receive these items. They could have at least allowed fans to redeem these items on the main level of the ballpark. But instead, you have to venture to the upper levels of the ballpark to receive your yoga mat and yoga bag. And if you’re not checked in by the bottom of the 8th inning, you don’t get to participate. Tickets are $50 and the yoga session will take place on the field 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game. Fans are to meet outside of section 112 after the game with their designated wristband. Have fun hipsters!
