Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, has long been considered one of the best NFL stadiums for tailgating. However, the Kansas City Chiefs fan base help make Arrowhead Stadium one of the loudest and most colorful experiences in the National Football League. Our staff wanted to provide a thorough breakdown of the Arrowhead Stadium seating chart to help fans decide where to sit before purchasing their Kansas City Chiefs tickets.
Where To Sit At Arrowhead Stadium
Unlike many NFL stadiums, Arrowhead Stadium is located several miles from downtown Kansas City on a site called the Harry S. Truman Sports Complex. Located adjacent to Arrowhead Stadium is Kauffman Stadium, home of Major League Baseball’s Kansas City Royals. Arrowhead Stadium is one of the largest stadiums in the National Football League with just under 80,000 seats and is due for several upgrades over the next few seasons. Keep in mind that the seating areas we will mention could change names from season to season. We’ll begin by discussing the lower level seats.
100 Level (Lower Level)
The lower level seats at Arrowhead Stadium consist of sections 101 through 136. The rows for the lower level sections are numbered 1 through 38. The Kansas City Chiefs sideline is located in front of sections 118, 119, and 120. The visiting team’s sideline is located in front of sections 101 and 102.
The Kansas City Chiefs player tunnel is located adjacent to sections 113 and 114. The visiting team also uses the tunnel adjacent to sections 113 and 114. Just behind section 134 is "The Family Zone" which is a seating area that prohibits alcohol and unruly fan behavior.
200 Level (CommunityAmerica Club Level)
The CommunityAmerica Club seats at Arrowhead Stadium consist of sections 201 through 246. The rows for the club sections are numbered 1 through 9. The perks for the CommunityAmerica Club seats at Arrowhead Stadium include the following.
- Climate-controlled environment
- Access to lounges and bars with flat-screen HD televisions
- Upscale food and beverage offerings
- Opens 2 ½ before kickoff and closes one hour after the conclusion of the game
- Less wait at restrooms and concessions
There are four club areas within the CommunityAmerica Club Level and they include the Foolish Club, North Club, Tower Club, and Club IV. To learn more about these spaces, please visit chiefs.com/stadium/eventspaces. Unlike most NFL stadiums, Arrowhead Stadium’s club seats are continuous and completely circle the field. This allows for excellent crowd flow in the concourses.
300 Level (Upper Level)
The upper level seats at Arrowhead Stadium consist of sections 301 through 346. The rows for most upper level sections are numbered 1 through 40. The rows for the upper level sections in the end zones are numbered 1 through 15.
In sections 320 through 328, you'll find the Ford Fan Zone which offers elevator access, bar service, concessions, and a unique viewing experience for fans. In section 335, you'll find the "Drum Deck" which is home to the drum used on the field prior to kickoff. As you can see above, there are a lot of stairs to climb if you purchase upper level tickets for a Chiefs home game; especially at midfield. Nevertheless, the upper level offers the most affordable tickets at Arrowhead Stadium and makes becoming an NFL season ticket holder a reality for many football fans.
